Yiu Hong Ko

Cognitive neuroscientist at Hong Kong Metropolitan University.
My research focuses on metacognition, decision confidence, error processing, individual differences, and aging. I use electroencephalography (EEG) and perceptual decision-making tasks to investigate the neural and cognitive mechanisms of decision making.

Besides research, I also enjoy teaching and creating teaching materials with animation and hands-on examples.

Current Research

My primary research investigates metacognitive decisions. Currently, I am working on various projects on metacognition in education, metacognition in older adults, and metacognition in daily life situations.

I also explore areas including dense longitudinal neuroimaging (DLN), functional near-infrared spectroscopy (fNIRS), and individual differences.
